GoBowling at The Glen gets underway Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on the historic road course at Watkins Glen. Kyle Busch is the Vegas favored, getting 3-1 NASCAR at Watkins Glen odds. Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. are each 4-1, with nobody else closer than 8-1. You need to find out exactly what Micah Roberts must say, before you lock in Watkins Glen picks.
Roberts was the first to offer NASCAR. Now he hands winners out for his followers.
Roberts was all over Busch last week at Pocono, pointing to not just his 26 career starts at the track, but also his motivation to triumph after a late bulge from Harvick per week earlier. Busch rallied in the 28th position for the flag.
Before this year, Roberts was all-in on Harvick at the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 despite the two other motorists using the same field-leading odds. The result: Harvick dominated, leading for 181 of 325 laps and cruising to victory from 2.69 minutes.
Also this year, Roberts was high on Clint Bowyer at the STP 500, where he snapped his 190-race winless streak. And at the Food City 500he stated Busch”owned” Bristol and would come off with the checkered flag — he rallied to finish just .63 minutes before Kyle Larson for the checkered flag.
In the 2017 NASCAR playoffs, Roberts chose nine of the 10 winners. That was no fluke he told readers to back Denny Hamlin at 15-1 at the Daytona 500. The result: Hamlin edged Truex Jr. for the checkered flag. Later that year roberts pinpointed Hamlin in 40-1 to win at Watkins Glen.
Now, he’s examined the 2018 GoBowling in the Glen field, NASCAR’s second road-track stop this season, from every possible angle and then locked in his selections. You can view his entire projected leaderboard in SportsLine.
We can tell you he is not choosing Busch to win NASCAR at Watkins Glen 2018 despite four road-course wins under his belt, tops among all active drivers.
1 driver Roberts is high on: Bowyer, who is getting 12-1 odds for Watkins Glen.
